How to make a Tron Light cycle Enemy AI Script ?

I'm making a tron light cycle game for a class project. The bikes are finished and everything works. The only thing I'm missing is the enemy AI. I'm a noob with scripting and I really need some help creating a Enemy specifically for a Tron Light Cycle game. If anyone could help that would be great, thanks.
