Asset store offline issues
Ok, kind of a funny situation here, I'm on a computer that has limited access to the internet. If I want to enable a new website, my admin can do that. But herein lies the problem. When I go to my copy of Unity and select 'Asset Store' I get the annoying "you are currently offline" message. I suspect this is because when the unity asset store goes looking for the server, it cannot find it due to my limited internet access. If somebody on here knows the site that the asset store is located on and wants to share it, I would appreciate it very much :)
that doesn't help.. I have same issue.. tried updating as many related domains in the parental controls filter on the mac to no avail.. also allowed unity.app fine.. still not working.. but when i turn off firewall completely still broken.. but if instead i turn off parental controls completely it works.. so.. what is the unity app doing in the background that needs to be permitted so that it works with firewalls and parental controls in place?? i see several other users have the same challenge..
