Turn off renderer untill key pressed again

so what i want to do is keep the renderer for my gun turned off until i press it again , at the moment i have to hold down 1 or 2 for an attachment mesh to turn off ... heres the code :

var attachmentOne : GameObject; var attachmentTwo : GameObject;

function Update () { if ( Input.GetButtonDown("Disable1")) { attachmentOne.renderer.enabled = false; } else { attachmentOne.renderer.enabled = true; }
if ( Input.GetButtonDown("Disable2")) { attachmentTwo.renderer.enabled = false; } else { attachmentTwo.renderer.enabled = true; }

}
