Problems with Unity Updates
Anyone else having problems getting Unity to update from 3.0 to 3.1 from within Unity (i.e. the Auto-Updater)?
Unity reports a new version, but when I hit "Download New Version" it just opens my web browser and the download link appears to do nothing. It used to work just fine - anyone have any wisdom to share in this regard?
Thanks,
JoeW

The link to download 3.1 will take you to the download page. Unlike the incremental updates, you need to re-download Unity from there. It's strange, but what can you do about it? Probably has something to do with the "big" change of adding in the asset store or something. Either way, your license and activation, etc. will remain so you shouldn't have any problems.
Thanks for the reply. I'm getting shunted over to the Download page, but the Download Unity Now button doesn't do anything - it just reloads the page. I've tried both IE and Firefox, and neither one starts any kind of download process. It's really weird. I wonder if it has something to do with using OpenDNS as my DNS(?)
