Can there be private images on a gameobject? Or something similar to it? Self-contained images?
As it is, one of my gameobjects uses public images. I was wondering if you could somehow make a private version of that, so the script could be more self-contained and not relying on outside assets in the scene. It doesn't seem possible since the images can only exist in the canvas?
If that is not possible, is there something similar to it? The fact that this gameobject requires public stuff makes it difficult for it to keep the same data across scenes.
I.E, I want it to have an image in one scene, and when it goes to a different scene, it still has that same image.
I am a beginner, so I apologize if this is an obvious question.
Thank you! If you take the time to answer this, I greatly appreciate it.
