Photon Realtime Demo frequently disconnects
I have a lot of problems with Photon Cloud in my own project, but they are also showing in the Unity realtime demo at http://doc.exitgames.com/photon-server/Realtime_Demo_Live/#cat-tutorials... so I'm not sure it's my problem.
Photon seems to have a lot of connectivity issues... frequently has problem establishing or maintaining a connection. For the realtime demo I get "State: Disconnected, Timout: Disconnectd by server. The server did not get a response in time".
Also, on the issue of establishing a connection it often has difficulty retrieving the crossdomain policy.
My friends and I both experience the poor connectivity with my game, but I'm not sure they have tried the realtime demo.
So, I guess the question is... how can the connectivity be improved, or how can I best deal with connection failure?
Sorry for the late reply. There are several causes for connection issues (so this is not really an answer): Your location, distance to the servers, hardware, performance of the client machine and internet, other software running and trouble on the servers.
Depending on your location you could try another regional server of our Cloud and see if that improves the situation. I never encountered the issue of not getting the policy, e.g., so it's hard to reproduce and answer.
