can i rotate a child object around the roots local axis using the childobjects reference point?
i'm trying to rotate this gameobject 56 degrees around its local y axis and -56 around its local z axis. but unless i only rotate around one of the axis the rotation comes out wrong. with some of its y rotation around the x axis because the z rotation is done first and that changes the axis for the y rotation. which means its tilted in a way its not suppose to. the best thing would be if I could use the roots axis to rotate the children but still using their own reference points. but my head is full of cotton so i cant figure out how to do that. can anyone help me?
