Question by Leo 1 · Sep 21, 2010 at 01:19 AM · animationexport3dsmaxboneprogram

What is the best animaiton program?

Hi, Im making my fps test game, and my biggest problem is the animation. Currently, Im using 3ds max 2011 to model, and animate. But when I export to the unity as FBX file (2009 format) the bones animations are corrupted. I tried many ways to export and all tryes have diffrent errors.

So, what is the better program or way to export, or create a new one?

Thanks. =D

sorry my bad english :P

Speaking in general export from 3dsMax should work, so I would recommend sticking with the tool that you know and figuring out why it doesn't work ;)

If you're using Unity 2.6, then you should use FBX 2010 format. Unity 3.0 can handle FBX 2011.

What you do mean animations are corrupted? Maybe you didn't bake IK or something like that?
