All imported 3d models share the same color?
Ok after I model objects in cinema4d and export them as .3ds files I import them into Unity3D they are different assets and everything but they seem to share the same color for some reason? So if i chance the color on one it changes the color on the other. I don't know its probably something obvious but please help? Thanks!

They probably share the same material. Try creating a separate material (or just copy/paste/duplicate the old one) for each of your objects. Alternatively, change the colour after you have instantiated the object, since every object should get a separate instance of its assigned material as well as far as I remember.
