Mass Placed Tree Collider
I need all of my trees to have colliders on them, but I can only get it to be solid if i drag a tree from the project veiw. When I check he tree colliders on the terrain window to on it doesn't make any difference. Suggestions?

For some reasons, the trees for the terrain have no collider so it is up to you to add one.
Simply create a prefab, place one tree, add a collider like a cylinder and drag the object to the prefab. Then add that prefab in the place trees section of your terrain editor.
Now your trees should have collision.
Hey thanks! That worked perfectly, I should've thought of that in the first place.
Regarding the vertex amount of a tree, I would not recommend using mesh colliders for mass implementation, this will result in complex colliders while...well, you could probably get away with cylinder (or couple of them if you need more precision) for the trunk, sphere for the top or cylinder for the branches if you were to stand on them. $$anonymous$$esh Collider would probably each leaf...no need.

Here's a video to show you how:
