Wii U license Confusion
Hi. I'm a little confused about how to get a Wii U license. I heard in some places you can get Unity Pro free with a Wii U license and other places a Wii U license with the purchase of Unity Pro. Can anyone clear this up for me?
I probably misread some things, but I'd appreciate any feedback.
Thanks!
PS One last question. Does the Wii U dev kit come free with the license, or is it a standalone purchase?

you need to get approved by the company (in this case Nintendo) in order to build for consoles like the Wii U. So your first step is to contact Nintendo and get certified as a Nintendo authorized developer, which is no easy task...
It's not that hard. There are a lot of students who are approved developers.

To get both the DevKit and the Unity for Wii U installer: http://www.warioworld.com
Wii U Dev Kit is a separate purchase, and Unity for Wii U is a separate agreement.
