Question on Unity 3D update to 3.0 ...
I'm thinking about buying Unity iPhone right now becauseof the discounted price but I have a question on the 3.0 update and the affect on Unity iPhone:
Will the Unity 3D 3.0 update affect all unity things( iPhone, Android, Web Games) or will it only affect the web games part.
--Because if this updates iPhone and I buy iphone now that would waste me $500 dollars (updating cost).
All the unity versions will be updated
I.e. - if you have a license for unity 3.0 iphone, it'll be updated to 3.0 along with the pc/mac version and anything else you have a license for when 3.0 gets released.

I thought that when they update you will have to pay $500 to update to new version... therefore wasting my money.
No, if you buy it now, you're buying the new license - you won't have to buy it again
THen why is there an update version for $500 dollars in the store section?
For people with 2.* versions. If you're buying from scratch you pay the full price. If you have a version 2 license, you pay the upgrade cost
