Applying c3d files to rigidbody modeled in unity

Hello, I'm having trouble finding a way to animate blocks in Unity using recorded .c3d information.

I currently have .c3d files that capture the motion of a rolling block; trackers were placed on the top of the block and recorded as it was rolled. I also have these rolling blocks modeled in 3d in Unity, and I was wondering how I could get the blocks to roll using the .c3d motion information.

Additionally, I would like the block models to not continuously move, but to only move with a selection and press of a key. I have already found a way to move the blocks this way linearly, however I would like to use the .c3d files to get a more realistic movement.

I've tried importing the .c3d files into MotionBuilder then exporting a .fbx file into Unity, but I couldn't find a way to apply these .fbx files to a block. Would it be better to import a block model into MotionBuilder, animate it there, then export the whole thing to Unity?

I tried looking at tutorials online. However, all of them involved mapping the object to a humanoid skeleton. All I want to do is move a rigid object, and am uninterested in joints. Is there a way this can be done?

Any advice would be much appreciated Thanks
