Strange bug with First Person Controller in 3.5 beta?
Starting with a new project, add a terrain and import/add a first person controller. As I move about with the character controller I'm getting strange intermittent rotational jerkiness, like every few seconds the camera or controller will rotate around the y axis by anything up to 180 degrees. This doesn't happen when the character controller is still, only when moving with small intentional rotations.
This happens consistently with any new project, and importing the native character controller package fresh. Going back to 3.4, there's no such problem. I'll report a bug, but in the meantime wondered if anyone else had found this, or found a workaround.
Cheers
With the the help of Deram in the Unity Forums, we discovered that 3.5 has a problem with wireless mice; the problem isn't present with a wired mouse. Tried it with a few different wireless mice, but would be interested to know if anyone using a wireless mouse is not seeing this problem. (maybe it's just sensitive to some models?)
