Is there a way to make 3D text not visible through another object?
I don't like how I see the text through my player. How can I make it so I can't?
It can be done. One of the arts guys on my $$anonymous$$m in my last job based out a shader modification that did it successfully.
Sadly I don't have access to that codebase any more and haven't done any shader work myself, but just to encourage you that it is possible.

Yes it does. Nyah. ;) But really, it totally does; it's a very basic shader and can't go wrong. If it doesn't work for you that means you did something wrong.
just to stop the polemic, it does work. but it requires to follow the tutorial all the way down.
