Altering the Terrain Tree Billboard Shader
Hi,
Unity's default tree billboard shader is horrible and doesn't match the mesh trees. I have an idea to a solution to this, but I don't know how to access the terrain billboard and to apply the changes to the script. I'm pretty sure my new shader will work.
If someone could simply explain how I could, this new shader could help a lot of people.

unity3d default shaders source
here you can found all built-it shaders
billboard shader is in folder
builtin_shaders.zip\DefaultResources\TerrainShaders\Trees\
Thanks but I know this. How do I apply the altered shader to the Unity terrain system? The system will not use the new shader..
tell system to use your new shader using http://docs.unity3d.com/Documentation/Components/SL-ShaderReplacement.html
I've just placed new shader in my project and it immediately worked, without any scripting.
