Where is a good place to start Developing my Game?

Hi! I'm new to creating games and I am unsure if where to start making my game, Should I start by Writing and planning, Concept art or something else that I missed. Obviously im going to start by watching tutorials and learning basics of Unity3D. Any Advice?

If you are just dabbling with how to learn Unity3D, then you are not at the point of making a full fledged game, yet. You should explore the tools that Unity3D provides you and (as you said) go through the tutorials.

Once you have a good idea how to use Unity3D, you should write up a design document, if you have game in mind.

Here's a good starting point on how to write a game design document:

This question should probably be in the forums rather than here. But, my two cents: If you don't know how to program, you're not going to be able to create a game - so start there (sorry if you already know programming - I can't tell from the question). Once you can program, make a game that you can finish. That means Pong, Tetris, Space Invaders, or some other relatively simple game. Trust me - for your first game, that's really all you want to start with, and you will learn a huge amount by fully implementing one of those.

The starting point with any game is an all-inclusive outline. Spend a good amount of time just thinking about what you want and then you can find out how to do it after you have the outline finished. If you are interested in developing for Android or Apple this tutorial is a great start. It got me into Unity and now I have a full game for Android almost complete. http://www.youtube.com/user/HowToMakeMobileGames?feature=g-user-u
