How can I receive all firebase push notifications?

Hello guys,

I am building an Android app and have implemented firebase messaging for push notifications by following the official tutorial. Everything works fine when I want to send basic messages, but if I want to filter them, say send to the devices that have opened the app in the last 24 hours, or devices that have a certain language, it doesn't work.

The firebase console tells me the message has been sent, but I don't receive it on my devices. Can anyone please help?
