Import character with gun animation
Hello. I have a character in maya 2011 to whose wrist I attached an AK47 model I found online. I parented the AK 47 to the wrist. I just wanted to test importing in unity. I created a few animations in maya (idle, run, jump, walk etc) and imported it to unity 4 by right clicking in the project window and importing the .mb file. After setting up the scene (putting the character in the scene, creating an animator controller and adding it to the character's animator) I added the idle animation to the Animator window. The animation plays but I get a lot of the following error: "Quaternion To Matrix conversion failed because input Quaternion is invalid {-1.#IND00, -1.#IND00, -1.#IND00} |=-1.#IND00} UnityEditor.DockArea:OnGUI()" and the same error again but with all the "-1.#IND00" replaced by numbers. Am I importing it wrong?
The A$$anonymous$$-47 mesh was too complex. The simpler the mesh the better. The animation plays more smoothly now but I still get quaternion errors associated with the player's movements.
