System.Timers.Timer doesn't work with GameObjects transformations?
I am trying to set a callback function by Generic c# interval calls.Inside the method I translate a gameObjects. The result is that the object remains at its place and the translation is not executed. The timer runs just ok, I traced the calls with Debug.Log().Is that a bug ? Or unity ignors System.Timers?
Thanks P.S I know that I can achieve the same with Coroutines and WaitForSecond() method but Timer object is much easier to control....
Hey, I'm having almost the same problem. Basically, the timer works and executes, but when I try to access the gameObject that contained it I get loads of errors (it's like the Timer broke the gameObject, and even logging a simple "this.gameObject" returns an error - not due to the gameObject missing, but to something that broke). Did you find any reason/solution?
