Multiple independent scenes
Hello,
Is it possible to have multiple scenes running at the same time without affecting each other?
What I'm trying to achieve is to have a space ship that can move around in the world, and at the same time the player can move in the interior of the ship. Since I don't want the ships movement and orientation affect the interior (like the direction of gravity), I want the interior to be static.
What I managed to do so far was to have the two "scenes" exist in the same scene but on different layers. The cameras and physics were set up to only see their associated game objects. While this works to some extent, there are still issues, like lights affecting all game objects regardless of layer settings.
Another reason I want them to be two scenes is because the outside represents a much larger scale of space than the ships vicinity, basically a real time rendered skybox.
