occlusionculling
Unity 3 Occlusion culling not taking account of the transparent material ( like Glass )
As the Tile.it appears like even I looking through the a glass/transparent object, Unity would still hide the object still hide the object behind.

I've not tried this but couldn't you disable the renderer on your window before baking so that from the camera used for the baking it appears as an opening?
