Extract pointer from Audioclip's buffer
Hi there Uniteers o/
I am currently optimizing our audio processing plugin which makes use of the Audioclip class.
I am trying to extract a pointer that points to the Audioclip's data buffer. Is this possible, and if so, how?
I know AudioClip.GetData(new arr[], 0)
can copy the Audioclip's data into another array, though this creates an additional buffer, which I am not interested in. Also this approach makes it difficult to process data using the Microphone class, as I would have to constantly re-call GetData
in order to obtain the new Microphone data stored within the AudioClip class.
