How to create sliding menu column and gameview

Hey there,

I am trying to gain some best practices in order to build an iPad Game. As I am out of the iOS dev world I wan't to know how you Unity3D geeks would solve the following:

Basically I do have a splitscreen. Marginal column shows different levels, the content column previews the level with an image. By selecting the level in marginal column, the menu slides to the left and the level is shown in fullscreen.

That's all ;)

Just asking for the best way to do this. Any suggestions?
