Question by luisFTW · Jan 29, 2016 at 03:48 PM · iosvariablexcodeissue

Xcode can't open my project

I built an application on a windows machine and then generated the Xcode project and import it to a MAC, but when I try to open it I get this error "Project cannot be opened because the project file cannot be parsed" If anyone has a solution, I'd appreciate it. I'm using OS X El Capitan, XCode 7.2 and Unity 5.0.2. I use that version of unity because vuforia prefabs would make Unity last version crash.

You're generating Xcode on the windows machine? How (and why)? If you have a $$anonymous$$ac, why not just do it the approved way and have Unity generate the Xcode on the $$anonymous$$ac?

I have the same issue with mac too... I have almost written nothing, just imported the assets of Google vr and generate a project for ios...it doesnt open...it could be a problem of windows building but not always I guess (by the way I found no ===== or <<<<<<< in my xcodeproj file)
