MonoDevelop will not autosync with Unity

Question

I don't know what I did, but MonoDevelop no longer automatically syncs with Unity. I now need to go to -> Right Click -> Sync MonoDevelop Project for my code changes to be reflected in Unity and, by extension, in my game. It's not a blocking issue, but it is very annoying -- especially while debugging. How can I fix this?
