Installation Error

Hello, i'm attempting to instal the Unity Web Player 3.1, I had learned of it through kongregate when attempting to play one of the games sponsered there.

The bar for installation gets to around 95%, freezes for a couple seconds and then brings up 'installation failed'. i have attempted resetting the computer twice now and would like to know whats wrong. I have Unity Web Player already installed, the only reason i know this is because the 3D version of DeadFrontier needed it. But when i go to check the version i have, it says 'undefined' on both types.

Thinking it was just the site i went and attempted to install it at the main site. It installed fully but still shows it has not been installed and i can not find out how to start it/check if it installed correctly. I also can not figure out how to uninstall it due to this problem.

When i attempt to reinstall it, it goes through the opening issue and then really quick shuts back down, as if it was already completed. i would like to know whats wrong, since it was working fine before this problem occurred :(

My system is a Windows XP Professional.
