Any way to export a unity sphere or cube to max?

Is there any way to export the default meshes in unity out to max? I'm having trouble getting my models to be the right size on import, I always have to scale them. I want to know how to make them in max the right size so they are right at 1.0 scale, and I think the unity cube or sphere would help if i could import that into max. If I cant, does anyone know of a max scene that has the scales laid out already? Also whats the recommended size of a model that scales correctly to the particle systems?

Ok well then is the default cube 1 meter by 1 meter by 1 meter? On default? If so I could probably just make a 1 meter cube in max as scale reference.

YES it is 1 meter x 1 meter x 1 meter.

be careful when you import the model in to Unity ... look for the little-noticed import options

(click on the item in PROJECT panel, and then look to the INSPECTOR panel)
