Special Plugin Folder Name for Desktop X96 Win
My situation is that I have several plugins. One for Android, one for IOS and one for Desktop. I have placed the plugins into their special-named plugin folder (below). However, it seems that Unity does not recognize the 'desktop' or 'x86' special name. This causes build errors on the Android platform because Unity is including the Desktop plugin when it should not.
I have tried the placing the desktop plugin in these locations. In all cases they are included in the Android Build.
/Plugins/Desktop
/Plugins/x86
/Plugins/Win
Here is my reference for the plugin special names

in short
Where should I place my desktop only (dll) plugin ?
