PC RSS Feed Get Xml Data Works , but not on android?
Hi guys , I have some code at the minute to load an xml document from an RSS Feed and it is currently working on my PC , but not when I load it into android?? anyone know why this could be?
XmlDocument doc = new XmlDocument();
doc.Load("http://www.worldweatheronline.com/v2/rss.ashx?q=" + city);
XmlNode locationNode = doc.SelectSingleNode("rss/channel/title");
location = locationNode.InnerText;
Any information would be helpful, even if I have to use a completely different method for get the xml.
It can be because you're using some external libraries to work with xml, but they are not supported on mobile platform.
anybody know a fix? I have tried searching up on unity android xml libraries , but I am still confused.
do I need to take out using System.Xml and replace it with an android equivalent?
