Render Player infront of UI while maintaining world space
This image above is what I am aiming for. Player (Car in this example) renders on top of a red image overlay, but still maintains the depth of being behind the cube.

This is what I currently have, using the popular Camera depth method used to prevent gun clipping. This isn't what I want however as this object is further away and breaks the illusion when behind an object.
