Unity Multiplayer errors?!
so.. im currently working on a top down shooter, it has multiplayer, but sometimes i get errors...
"View ID AllocatedID: X not found during lookup. Strange behaviour may occur" and "Couldn't perform remote Network.Destroy because the network view 'AllocatedID: X' could not be located.".
they appear when a enemy dies, but not all the time.. maybe there are some enemies with the same ID?
i've not figured out when they appear, but i have notised that sometimes when the enemies die and drops loot these errors come... but not all the time.. i removed the loot and the errors cept annoing me.
i can play multiplayer without caring about them, but i find it hard to avoid it.
i am very grateful for any responce. Thank you :)
This is not really a clear question. It sounds like you destroy a game object locally before the Network.Destroy from another player reaches the client. $$anonymous$$ake sure you exclusively destroy networked game objects by Network.Destroy.
im using the "Network.Destroy" command.. but still get the error, is there any examples you coud show me?
I finally figured it out! thank you for your help :D
what i needed to do is just make the server network.destroy the enemy. what i was doing was wrong and i tried to delete it twice :P silly me!
