How can I have the same shader but with different settings on other models
So Im trying to do a flicker light effect and the lights turn off but the shader on the lamp model is bright so I changed the settings on the shader so it would be darker but that shader changes on every lamp model in my scene. How can I change the shader on only that model?

All models are changing because they are using the same material, so the solution is to duplicate the material. Create a new material with the same shader and put it on the lamp.
Yeah, there's no need to try and save up resources by using as little materials as possible. There won't be any advantage in simplifying it.
