How to make Island Demo work in Unity 3?
Hey people :) I have come up with an amazing idea about a game but I am afraid I need the island demo to complete it. Unfortunately it doesn't work in Unity 3.x.x What should I do to fix it? Please don't tell me to use Bootcamp, I specifically need the island demo :)
P.S. Excuse my English, as it is not my native language.
There seem to be several answers around here that talk about individual errors popping up when you try to run the island demo in Unity3. It seems like you need to address those and if you're stuck with any particular error, ask individual questions here. I don't think anybody has released the complete project running in Unity3 yet.
Well, I actually wanted the project for the models (which I can still grab), the seagulls (which I can export to a prefab) and the water. I have Unity Pro so I can use the Water prefab that comes with it but I don't know how to shape it. It is just a plane. Could anybody explain me that? Thanks in advance :)
Shape the terrain, then stick the water-plane under the surface and stretch it out so it covers the whole area you made for it.
O$$anonymous$$, I am surprised I didn't think of that :) Thanks LoONuhti$$anonymous$$!
