iOS deployment using the help of a friend?
After researching, I recently found that you can only deploy IOS apps using a Mac. I do not currently own a Mac, yet I have a friend who does. Would it be possible to develop the IOS app on my PC using the Unity Remote 4 app on my IPhone to test the app, then export the XML file, which I then put on dropbox? I could download it on my friend's mac, sign in to my Apple Developer Profile, and deploy it from there. Any ideas if this could work?
Thanks so much.
Should work fine! Ensure you have X-Code and everything installed but when your using Dropbox, make sure not to give ANYONE else the link. You should also make it clear to your friend to delete the link after your done using it so your game is not leaked or anything. All in all should work just fine! :)
Edit: Remember that graphics in unity remote do not in any way resemble the actual apps graphics once deployed!
