Terrain asset package missing rock mesh?
I have the unity pro trial and will probably end up installing the free version after my trial is over so i have two questions. 1. is every imported package that does not say pro only available in the free version? 2. my terrain asset package is missing the rock mesh so i don't know where the rocks are. i figured you have to shape them up in Maya but im still learning Maya so i just wanted a quick fix. so simply, where's the rock mesh?
Nothing goes away, and you don't have to install anything, when the trial is over, just somet things won't work anymore. You may find rocks in various tutorials. There are some cheap packages in the Asset Store (ex: the Polyhedra collection ;-) ) but there are rock assets there.
Everything that is free will work in pro and free version it's just the pro only items wont always work in the free version. Another tip would be avoiding using to many website assets so that you don't make a map with 50% pro items and then have the trial run out just to find out that your map is now basically unplayable. What i'm trying to get at is that free version still allows you to have a good unity, and well working interface decisions. Last is that if you are to buy a asset it will work in both pro and free.
