Multiplayer Support for Android
Hey Unitarians,
So I have a game, and it's almost entirely complete and set for release soon, except I wanted to add multiplayer support. What I mean by multiplayer support is that I want a user to be able to create a WiFi room with their phone and connect to other phones playing nearby them. Then, they can have battles with the players near them. I have no idea where to begin doing this. Does anyone have any ideas? It should be optimized for mobile and not memory-consuming. That is the type of multiplayer support I absolutely need, but if I get over 100,000 downloads, I plan on adding internet connection multiplayer support so that you can play with strangers around the world. How would I do that?
Thanks in advance, Aman Jha

You could look into the Google Play Game Services. I don't know if they can be used for LAN play, but I do know that it'd work well for internet multiplayer support.

Thanks for showing me this! I don't know if it will work but I'll see
