10-15MB for just Unity http://forum.unity3d.com/threads/28531-Unity-s-base-memory-footprint-on-iPhone-13mb
In our games both our iOS and Android memory footprint ranges from 30-90MB, at 100MB you can get too many watchdog warnings and be shut down on devices like iPad and 3GS.
thanks ryan but then is it possible to develop a game lighter in memory say around 6-8mb for ios,in unity?
Even with stripping on and .NET 2.0 subset there is still around 9$$anonymous$$B of libs and mono/AOT weight. To get below 10$$anonymous$$B you need to make or use a custom engine.
