Why did my mobile prefabs go blank?
So one day I fired up my unity and found all the mobile prefabs were blank. They are an empty with two children: a character controller graphics and a completely blank prefab. The only things still in tact are the joysticks. I've tried re-importing them, making a new project, reinstalling unity, none of that works. I haven't tried reinstalling the mobile add-ons but I got it when they were free and can't seem to find how to actually reinstall them...
A screenshot to show you what it looks like:
As you can imagine this makes it very difficult to see how their prefabs work in an attempt to create my own things. Everything else inside of the mobile assets appears to be fine (except the example scenes but only because they use the broken prefabs).
So if anyone knows what the heck this is or how to fix it that would be awesome...

The only thing that could of happened is that the original source was deleted. Do you know what those prefabs use to be? For example if you have a prefab of a 3d model with a script then you delete the model and the script the prefab would go blank. If that isn't the cause then I not sure whats going on. They shouldn't just delete on their own.
I've done nothing to the prefabs before. The only thing I use them for is reference to see how unity set them up (particularly how they interfaced with the joysticks). I haven't even put one in any scenes.
Also just checked and even my old projects where they were already imported and proper have the broken mobile prefabs.
