Fog/color tint shader for orthographic camera
Hi folks,
let me start by saying that my understanding of shaders at this point is still pretty limited and basic. I've been doing quite a bit of research on the topic, but it didn't lead to any satisfactory results so far.
Thus, my question: is it actually possible to have a shader that tints individual pixels based on their (z-)distance from an orthographic camera? This is meant to achieve an effect similar to Unity's built-in fog, which apparently doesn't work with orthographic cameras - or at least, not really well.
If that's possible, is there a (preferably) simple way to implement this in a shader or script?
