Need some advices for GPS on an android app

Hello, my name is Marie I am 22 years old and I live in France. I am currently working on a project where I need my user to be able to locate himself on a map during a treasure hunt. I would like to know the best solutions to meet this need (asset, tutos etc.) I would need to be able to place objects on this same map from time to time. Would you have a solution for me?
