switch platform error

Hi,

When the Platform was selected to WebPlayer, everything worked perfectly fine and I could built and release the project.

However, when the Platform got switched to anything else, unknown errors appeared and I don't know how to fix them.

When I tried to comment out every codes with errors, it seems that the causes are from files with non-English letters such as "æ" // パスのxmlファイルをTextAssetとして読み込む

When I tried saving it in Unicode, either one of these came up. Assets/Plugins/cMonkeys/cInput.cs(2,0): error CS1024: Wrong preprocessor directive Assets/Plugins/cMonkeys/cInput.cs(1199,68): error CS1012: Too many characters in character literal

I got it solved, the problem wasn't with cInput but with $$anonymous$$onoDevelop unable to save the file to UTF8+Bom internally, So I solved it via notepad++ ins$$anonymous$$d.

The problem kind of got solved. The problem wasn't with the codes, but with how Mono saved the files. For some reason, if a file contain letters beside standard English, it needed to be saved in UTF8 with Bom. However, MonoDevelop cannot do this internally, So I used notepad++ to save the file instead. Then, it work properly.

Ouch... Consistency... So you have some English filenames and some which are not? You can't write C# or javascript in any other language, so I guess you can read it. Couldn't you just save yourself some pain and use English file names? (Common practice even in globalized software)

The File names are in English, The codes contain non-English letters. If you worked globally with people beyond native English speaking nations, then it's a common happening in globalized software.

Just want to add that it's as japanese has many more options for coding problems due to the three syllabaries; in your particular case katakana and hiragana was used. パス PaSu katakana

の no xml (of xml format) xmlファイルを Fairuwo or file wa - file is : TextAssetとして読み込む name: japanese native word hiragana + kanji : Te tomikomu

soo you can see compared to english why you'd need some extra libraries.
