bones is causing flip mesh?
Hi. I got a problem with the bones from 3D Studio Max 2010 to the Unity Engine. My character is fine when i animate and see him in the MAX. When i send him to Unity Engine i got him flipped.
This very strange thing isn't happening when I've used Biped, but i don't know exactly why, it cannot be cause of the Bones, cause there are tutorials in Youtube that I can see the User send it in FBX with its bones(not biped)...
It should work.
Thank you so much!

I'm having this issue too. I have to move the bones by script on the Unity3D but it seems like their pivot point are missplaced causing exactly that problem!
When I import the fbx back to 3ds$$anonymous$$ax.. the bones seems to work correctly again...

Are you using pivot rotation?
on unity you can rotate a object by its pivot or center, it happened with me until I figure out that the center rotation was selected when I managed to rotate the bones of my character (inside the editor. this does no happens doing rotations via script)...
The pivot/center button is located on the upper bar on unity editor.. check it out!
