scripts unauthorized?

i am unable to save any momo-develop scripts when using unity3d!! i have tried re-installing unity twice/setting permissions in both unity + mono, nothing works! here is the error i keep getting: (the path is to where my project files reside) (i am using unity 3.5x on Mac OS 10.7) -please any help ?! how to fix? this is perhaps some kind of config problem i can't understand.

UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path "/Users/Deenie/Desktop/unityTests/newTst/Assets/NewBehaviourScript.js" is denied.
