Imported a tree but no Bend factor?

Trying to get my tree's to sway in the wind. I have the wind box already in place but whenever I import a .spm file into the tree editor, the bend factor variable disappears completely. It's like it doesn't support the asset or file format even though its from the standard assets (Standard Palm tree).
