Text Effects...

Question

This is a Simple question...Is there a way to add effects to your GUI text? like drop-shadow,outline something like that, do I need special text shaders? do text shaders even exist XD? sorry I'm beginner at this..

Aside from applying a GUI Skin, you are pretty limited.

Take a look at using a Text Mesh instead.

Although there are other solutions.

I do not believe it is possible to do this without shaders, however, I may be wrong. I would recommend you make all the text you want in photoshop (which has these abilities) and then display the text as an image instead.
