WHAT licence for Iphone DEV
Hi everybody
I make flash game since 2001, and i will to give a Try to Iphone Games.
Since it is just a try can i only buy the IOS licence with the Free unity version ??
I don't wont to purchase the Unity Pro + IOS for only testing ..
You can purchase the basic license with Unity free, but if you want the iPhone advanced license you also need to buy Unity Pro.
You can jump onto the Unity site and trial Unity iPhone for 30 days though, so you should be able to give it a go in that period of time, then decide to purchase after that.
Note that you need a Mac computer for Unity iPhone.
you can create a game in free version of unity and then if it was ok you can by unity ios basic for $399. it's to great and worth the value.
even your game is a simple one. if you release a free version and a $0.99 version, you will earn the money back after few monthes.
there is a 30 day trial available too. just download the mac version of unity and try it. you need an intel based mac and osx 10.3 or later.
you should be an apple developer too. it will cost you $99
