Error: System.IO.FileLoadException: Mixed mode assembly is built against version 'v2.0.50727' of the runtime and cannot be loaded in the 4.0 runtime without additional configuration information.
Hi,
I am using unity version 3.5.5 and the UniWii plugin to make an FPS game. I used the test scene provided with the uniWii download, and edited it so that the wiiparent has the the first person controller as its model. This gave me a first person view which could be manipulated by moving a connected Wii mote. When I open MonoDevelop and try to build the solution containing the controller.cs and wiiMote.cs (these were given with the test scene), as well as the first person camera script (standard asset) I get the following error:
Error Error: System.IO.FileLoadException: Mixed mode assembly is built against version 'v2.0.50727' of the runtime and cannot be loaded in the 4.0 runtime without additional configuration information. (Error: System.IO.FileLoadException) (Assembly-UnityScript-firstpass)
I don't know what to do, I'm quite new to unity. Any help would be appreciated.
Did you ever find a solution to this? I'm having the same issue with another DLL and I suspect it's because Unity does not use the latest version of the .NET framework, and the DLL was compiled using a newer version. If anyone can shed any light on this it would be very helpful!
