gamecrashes while being loaded
Greetings,
I am currently facing an issue where the game crashes when loading a scene with five characters in it, each one of these characters has an animator controller that references all their animations (even the ones not needed for this particular scene) and therefore they are all loaded in memory and the game crashes.
My question is, is there a way to make the animator only load up the animations needed for this particular scene or do I have to make an animator controller per scene/per character?
Solve crashing first. Read crash log and you will know why it crashes really.
it's an out of memory crash, when I reduce the number of characters the scene runs fine.
Understood. You may want to attach screenshot of your memory profiler illustrating the situation, or add more specific data - just to make this more evident.
