copy bone animation from one object to another
Hello. I have many different object that holds the same bone structure and same bone names. I have a bone animation to an object that was done in blender. is there a way to copy that bone animation in unity and to store it and then to use it on any other object that I like that holds the same bone names ?
for example if i have a blender file that holds a person with bone animation for example.. that he walks.
i want to be able to load other persons objects and to apply that bone animation on them as well so in my unity scene i'll have many different people that are walking.
any information regarding the subject would be greatly appreciated.
thanks!
You can load an animation onto another object - I use this all the time when the rig is the same, but I have to say I keep my animations as separate files rather than multiple animations in the model file. How are yours stored?
how do you keep your animations in a separate file ? what's it's format? do you relate it to an object? i'm really new to this subject so any information would be greatly appreciated :) thanks
